Carlos Tavares Pedro — Multidisciplinary Visual Artist

Carlos Tavares Pedro (Amadora, 2000) is a multidisciplinary visual artist working across photography, cinema and communication.

With a bachelor in sound and image and a master’s in communications, he founded the contemporary platform KABO and directed his first documentary, Os Tempos Conturbados (2022), which received both national and international recognition. He has worked with various national institutions while shaping new narratives grounded in themes of memory and identity.
